The Criminal Investigation Division is comprised of four Investigators,
three general Investigators and an Investigator assigned to the
Morgan County Drug Task Force.

The Narcotics Unit investigates cases involving the illegal sell and
trafficking of narcotics ranging from street level sales to organized drug
enterprises. The Narcotics Unit also files forfeiture proceedings against
the assets obtained through illegal drug activity. The Narcotics Unit
uses these assets to aid in the continued fight against illegal drugs.
Lt. Justin Barley is frequently asked to give talks to local schools,
churches and civic organizations about drug trends and problems that
affect our community.
